Pele Yoetz Center directors and administrators enjoyed a special visit to the homes of gedolei Yisrael, shlit”a. In the course of a series of meetings, the delegation, led by the Center’s Nasi Hagaon Harav Dovid Levy, shlit”a, painted an avid description of Pele Yoetz’s activities, and gedolei Yisrael responded with their enthusiastic birkos haTorah and wishes that “Shetishreh Shechinah b’chol maase y’dei haMercaz.”
The delegation was joined by R’ Eliyahu Schindler, shlit”a, distinguished community askan, founder and patron of Al Pi Darko, a groundbreaking tutoring and mentoring project by Pele Yoetz Center that offers vital early-intervention academic and emotional support to young boys, keeping them safely ensconced in a yeshivah framework and empowering them to overcome spiritual challenges before they arise.
In the home of Maran Sar HaTorah Hagaon Harav Chaim Kanievsky, shlit”a, the group was privileged to receive an especially warm welcome and heartfelt brachah of the gadol hador. Harav Chaim noted the tremendous zechus of saving Jewish youth from spiritual decline and commended Pele Yoetz’s projects and compassionate work that fortify thousands of Jewish homes and families.
Maran Sar HaTorah, shlit”a, asked Hagaon Harav Dovid Levy, shlit”a, about Pele Yoetz’s activities and current programs and inquired about the challenges facing contemporary youth and their mentors. With deep emotion, he delivered his birkas haTorah and then added another brachah to all who support and assist Pele Yoetz that the Shechinah should rest upon all their endeavors.
Taking leave of the gadol hador, the delegation proceeded to the home of Rosh Yeshivas Kamenitz Hagaon Harav Yitzchak Scheiner, shlit”a, who is closely affiliated with Pele Yoetz. Expressing his appreciation to the visitors, he bestowed Harav Levy with a beautiful letter endorsing Pele Yoetz Center, its faculty, and all who support the organization and its projects which endeavor to save the next generation.
The final stop was the home of the Karlin-Stoliner Rebbe, shlit”a, who expressed deep interest into the organization, and particularly its chinuch and shalom bayis projects, treatment methods and programs. He commended the department directors for their tireless efforts on behalf of Klal Yisrael and added his heartfelt brachah that they should enjoy success in all their efforts.
The tour culminated with sentiments of deep joy, gratification, and confidence that Pele Yoetz is accomplishing what it has set out to do. These positive feelings, the memories of this remarkable day, and above all, the heartfelt brachos and counsel of gedolei Yisrael, shlit”a, shall surely escort the directors and faculty of Pele Yoetz Center as they continue improving chinuch and shalom bayis and escorting our youth through the challenges of our times.
