Pele Yoetz Center’s Advanced Mentoring Course Leads Mentors to the Next Stage

Pele Yoetz

With the mentoring course by Pele Yoetz now in full swing, we are delighted to announce the opening of an advanced mentoring course by Pele Yoetz Center. The current mentoring course, which has swiftly developed into the first choice for mechanchim and those seeking to enter the field of chinuch, has paved the way for a new approach to childhood education and educational support, bringing relief to hundreds of children and their parents. The advanced course, which will include ten comprehensive sessions, was created as a continuation to the basic course. It includes broader, deeper content in the realm of teaching and mentoring that guides tutors and mentors to improve their skills and refine their approach in chinuch for the child’s benefit.

The current course has met with resounding positive feedback. When asked to describe his impressions of the course and what he gained personally, one participant responded with the following: “I always dreamed of mentoring and tutoring or teaching one-on-one, but until I took Pele Yoetz’s course, I didn’t really understand what it meant or what this encompassed.”

Another course participant shares: “To be honest with myself, the way I mentored before taking this course was somewhat irresponsible. Only now do I genuinely understand what the role requires, and what my obligation and commitment to my talmidim include.”

The second and more impressive half of the story is the long-term results of the mentors’ work. Many have facilitated the entrance of their talmidim into excellent mosdos and helped them advance in their learning and achieve success in ways they never imagined possible.

The advanced course by Pele Yoetz, which is under the direction of Rabbi Avraham Vitman shlit”a, director of Project Al Pi Darko, offers participants a broad range of information as well as more profound understanding of the content, which opens doors for them in the world of chinuch and teaching.

The course director at Pele Yoetz Center expresses: “If the current tutoring and mentoring course offered by Pele Yoetz Center has been so successful until now due to its new, refreshing approach in the realm of chinuch which enriches talmidim academically and emotionally, then the advanced course will surely lead the mentors several major steps forward. The rich, comprehensive course content is geared exclusively for those already filling the role of mentors in the lives of students.

“This time the scope of knowledge taught and the realms of training will be deeper and broader. Course participants will explore the roots of academic and emotional issues and be introduced to a range of associated subjects, all with the goal of enriching their activities in the field of chinuch and empowering them to move forward and attain success.”

Like all courses under the auspices of Pele Yoetz Center, the advanced course syllabus and content is meticulously reviewed by Hagaon Harav Dovid Levy shlit”a, Nasi of Pele Yoetz, to guarantee quality and purity and ensure that it will benefit both the mentors and their talmidim.
